Black and white treat

I'm not sure that the documentary "March of the Penguins 2" has anything to offer that wasn't in the 2006 Oscar-winning first installment, but it is great fun reacquainting ourselves with these brave birds amid the soothing narration of Morgan Freeman. Prepare to fall in love all over again.

Down in the valley

"Silicon Valley" may be missing cast member T.J. Miller this season, but it's still generating laughs as the would-be Mark Zuckerberg (Thomas Middleditch) attempts to launch a new internet in between vomiting bouts. One nit: Kumail Nanjiani continues to be underused, despite his recent Oscar nomination for co-writing "The Big Sick."

Money troubles

Paul Giamatti and Damien Lewis continue to wage war in "Billions," the financial world's version of sumo wrestling. Clancy Brown ("The Shawshank Redemption") brings even more testosterone to the table in Season 3 as the new attorney general.
