Back on the beach

"MTV Spring Break" may not be the party it was back when Carmen Electra was a thing, but the network hopes to recapture at least some of the spirit of the onetime superbash with a week's worth of programming from Cancun, Mexico. It's the first time since 2005 that MTV has aired the drunken, shirtless festivities. Tyga, Zara Larsson and Rae Sremmurd are among the artists confirmed to participate.

Programming runs throughout the weekend

Parents just don't understand

Will Smith, Ariana Grande and Adam Sandler are among the big names willing to risk getting slimed in order to promote their new projects during "Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards 2019" with 43-year-old DJ Khaled serving as host/babysitter. Categories include Favorite Social Star, Favorite Butt-Kicker and Favorite TV Judges.

Respect your elders

Amy Schumer and Tiffany Haddish owe a tip of gratitude to "Funny Women of a Certain Age," five veteran comics who helped pave the way for a younger generation. Carole Montgomery and her friends may not be selling out theaters, but they prove they can be just as animated and bawdy as better-known headliners in this youthful 90-minute special.
