Justice for all

We're used to watching David Tennant steal the show in such projects as "Broadchurch" and "Viva Blackpool," but he gets pickpocketed by Sophie Okonedo as his courtroom rival in "The Escape Artist," a taut thriller with more twists and turns than a State Fair pretzel. Maybe we shouldn't be surprised. Okonedo, who dazzled in "Hotel Rwanda" and just picked up her first Tony last Sunday for "A Raisin in the Sun," is a rising star. Tennant soon will be seen in his first American prime-time series. Let's hope Okonedo follows suit. 8 p.m. Sunday, TPT, Ch. 2

No more words

On a new episode of "The Bachelorette," the suitors head to the south of France, where Andi Dorfman gets the pleasure of being wooed by a sailboat cruise and the pain of watching the competitors try to impress her with what they've learned at mime school. Ben Fields stops by to perform his new song "Extraordinary Light." 7 p.m. Monday, KSTP, Ch. 5

Is CK OK?

I love the unpredictable nature of "Louie," including the sentimental, 90-minute flashback episode last week. But even I was thrown by the incident earlier this month in which he appears to be trying to rape a potential girlfriend. Was it supposed to rattle us? If so, mission accomplished. The story line with the woman, played by the marvelous Pamela Adlon, picks up in this season finale. 9 p.m. Monday, FX

An American in Paris

The third season of "Perception" opens in Paris, where our paranoid schizophrenic hero, played by Eric McCormack, must determine whether he's being recruited by the FBI or is imagining a whole roster of shady characters. The truth is somewhat apparent, but clever. 9 p.m. Tuesday, TNT
