Basket case

"Baskets" may not rise to the level of the other shows from Louis C.K.'s production company, "Louie" and "Better Things," but it's a subtly sweet platform for Zach Galifianakis, who plays two very different brothers, each a lovable loser in his own distinct way. Of course, the series wouldn't have been picked up for a second season without Louie Anderson's Emmy-winning turn as the twins' mother. He continues to be the show's not-so-secret weapon; stay tuned for an upcoming episode in which his character gets moony-eyed at the Reagan Presidential Library.

A delay in the action

The return of "Grey's Anatomy," "Scandal" and "How to Get Away With Murder" — the Shonda Rhimes trifecta — has been bumped a week to make room for a one-hour "20/20" special, "America's First Family: The Trumps Go to Washington," which just proves that Olivia Pope has only so much clout.

Juggling act

"Neal Brennan: 3 Mics" gives the up-and-coming performer a chance to show off his comedy chops — and his versatility. The special, produced by John Legend, has Brennan alternating among three microphones, with an emphasis on confessional monologues, one-liners and traditional stand-up at each one.
