Beautiful music

Netflix may get most of the buzz, but look out for Amazon, which has quickly become a reliable destination for original programming. The latest offer is "Mozart in the Jungle," a fictionalized look at the New York Philharmonic with a winning performance by Gael Garcia Bernal as a wild-child conductor. Wild about Harry

All your preteen wants for Christmas is "One Direction: A TV Special," the pop band's first holiday effort. The special features behind-the-scenes footage from the South American leg of the group's tour as well as an interview on a high-speed roller coaster. Year in review

Robin Roberts makes another journey into prime time to host "The Year 2014" with a look at Ferguson, Mo., and the Ebola threat. Of course, this is ABC, which means there will be an emphasis on such "important" matters as Shonda Rhimes' winning streak, George Clooney's wedding and Meghan Trainor's bass. 8 p.m. KSTP, Ch. 5
