The Who guitarist teamed up with composer Nathan Barr for "It Must Be Done," which will be featured on a new episode of "The Americans." It's the first time Townshend has written for the small screen. 9 p.m. FX

Weapons of mass destruction

"Nazi Mega Weapons" takes a look at some of Adolf Hitler's wildest ideas, including a land battleship that, if actually created, would have weighed 1,000 tons. This program is part of a six-part series that also looks at Fortress Berlin, U-boat pens and the Atlantic Wall. 9 p.m. TPT, Ch. 2.
