TV critic's picks: Wednesday

"I Get That a Lot!", People's Choice Awards

You know who you look like? Larry Hagman may have died this past November, but his cackle remains with us. In addition to appearing in nearly all the episodes of a new season of "Dallas," the actor is featured in "I Get That a Lot!" (7 p.m., WCCO, Ch. 4) along with Cheech Marin and Bruce Jenner, all pretending to be celebrity impersonators.

Leap of faith "Stars in Danger: The High Dive" (7 p.m., KMSP, Ch. 9), the first of two new "Diving With the Stars" series, is all wet if it wants us to believe that surfer Bethany Hamilton and actress Alexandra Paul are true celebrities. The only name I'm really familiar with is "Jersey Shore"'s JWoww, which almost guarantees that she'll bellyflop out of the competition by the end of Week 2.

Penny for your thoughts For six seasons, Kaley Cuoco has provided award-worthy laughs as Penny on "The Big Bang Theory," all without a single Emmy nomination. At least she gets a chance to be on the giving end of accolades as she returns to host "The People's Choice Awards" (8 p.m., WCCO, Ch. 4), honoring favorites in pop culture.
