Sunday Albert Lea native Marion Ross flexes her Minnesota Nice muscles as the potential mother-in-law of a budding designer (Kayla Ewell) in "Keeping Up With the Randalls" (8 p.m., Hallmark). Monday "Magic Beyond Words: The J.K. Rowling Story" (7 p.m. Lifetime) proves two things: 1) Aussie Poppy Montgomery, who plays the celebrated author, can handle a British accent, and 2) Rowling's personal life is a lot less exciting than Harry Potter's. Wednesday Celebrities seem to get everything in the world, including advice on how to spruce up their home electronics. "Hollywood Hi-Tech" (8:30 p.m., DIY) finds tech expert Janna Robinson consulting with stars, starting off with Kevin Connolly of "Entourage." Apparently he couldn't talk Turtle into souping up his screening palace.

Before Friday's opening of the latest effort, check out past failures, starting with 1978's "Captain America" (5 p.m., Syfy), the 1979 followup, "Captain America II" (6 p.m., Syfy) and a 1990 version, "Captain America" (8 p.m., Syfy).
