Made in England

Dudley Moore is best known in the United States for that darling drunk title character of "Arthur," but in England he's beloved for the comedies he made with Peter Cook. Watch the duo go at it in "Bedazzled" (7 p.m. Friday, TCM), "The Wrong Box" (9 p.m. Friday, TCM) and "The Bed Sitting Room" (11 p.m. Friday, TCM).

The odd couple

If counseling can work for Tony Soprano, it just might do the trick for bickering police partners in "Common Law" (9 p.m. Friday, USA), a new crime procedural starring Michael Ealy ("Barbershop") and Warren Kole ("Into the West").

Bite in the Big Apple

Two comedians hit New York City, starting with "Reggie Watts: A Live at Central Park" (midnight Friday, Comedy Central) and followed by "Tracy Morgan: Black and Blue" (9 p.m. Sunday, Comedy Central), in which the "30 Rock" star performs at the Apollo Theater. This special will give me another chance to figure out whether Morgan's befuddled persona is an act or the real thing.

Good night, ladies

Like a lot of viewers, I stopped visiting Wisteria Lane a few years ago, but I'll be making one final house call for the two-hour series finale of "Desperate Housewives" (8:01 p.m. Sunday, KSTP, Ch. 5). The show's high jinks may have gotten tired, but let's not forget that this show made history by proving that strong suburban women could be fodder for comedy.
