Greetings. Youngblood here for one final time this evening.

Well, as the season winds down and the Wolves' losing streak reaches 10, is there anything left to say. Well, yes, because I have a blog to file.

But we've seen this one before, a million times. The injuries may have forced Wolves coach Kurt Rambis to juggle his lineup, but the results were too familiar: Too many turnovers doomed the team. After the game ended Rambis lauded his teams effort, and he was right. They did play very hard. Our-sized inside, and out-quicked outside, the Wolves showed a lot of effort.

But, man, those turnovers. Ten players played for the Wolves tonight. Six of them had three or more turnovers. And many of these weren't the product of great Memphis defense. I can recall at least four or five where the Wolves player simply threw the ball to someone in a white jersey.

The Wolves had whittled a 19-point third-quarter Memphis lead down to nine entering the fourth quarter. Anthony Randolph hit one of two free throws early in the fourth to cut the lead to eight. On the Wolves' next possession Randolph threw the ball to Mike Conley. Just threw it to him. Next time down Randolph dribbled it out of bounds. Momentum lost.

Later in the quarter another Wolves mini-run pulled Minnesota within 7 when Tolliver hit a three-pointer off a nice feed from Martell Webster. subsequent turnovers by Tolliver, Jonny Flynn and Luke Ridnour ended that momentum.

OK. That's enough on the turnovers. I'm tired of watching them, much less writing about them. Other thoughts from tonight:

--I thought Michael Beasley played pretty well on the offensive end at the power forward position. He is talented enough to put pressure on most fours at the offensive end. But he's a liability inside on defense, especially on the boards.

--Wes Johnson continued his struggles. He played hard Saturday. Playing the small forward position, he had four boards, four assists and a team-high three steals. But he can't find his shot. He went 1-for-7, 0-for-3 from three-point range.

--On the other side, Martell Webster (12 points on 4-for-8 shooting) had yet another strong game off the bench. He also had five rebounds and two assists and a a steal in 26:40 of play.

--Pekovic, Anthony Randolph, Jonny Flynn and Michael Beasley all had four turnovers. Whoops. I wasn't going to write about turnovers any more.

--It's amazing out badly the Wolves get out-rebounded when Love isn't in the lineup. Saturday? 44-34. The Grizzlies got 17 offensive rebounds.

That's about all for now. Have a good rest of your weekend.
