The downtown Minneapolis club zone is under intense police scrutiny in the early hours, but that didn't stop shots from ringing out at 2 a.m. Monday, injuring three people, But the police saturation did help capture two gunmen. Matt McKinney reports that violent crime is up 60 percent so far this year, compared to 16 percent citywide. Minneapolis spent more than any other local government in Minnesota last year on lobbying state government, according to a new state auditor's report.
