The Gophers men's basketball team will kick off its 2010-11 season with "Tubby's Tipoff" Oct. 15.
The event is free and open to public.
Minnesota's version of Midnight Madness will begin at 10 p.m. at Williams Arena and will feature a dunk contest, a three-point shooting contest and a team scrimmage. The doors will open at a 8:30 p.m. and an autograph session with players and coaches will start at 9 p.m.
Rodney Williams will be there. His dunk showcase alone was worth the trip last year.
