Peter Forseth, Minneapolis • 50-inch muskie • Lake of the Woods
Forseth, 15, caught this muskie last week on Miles Bay using a floating Rapala lure while casting into shore. Forseth, left, was fishing with friends Greg, Henry and Matt Bitter. Henry Bitter adeptly netted the fish.
Nice catch
Terri Bloomquist of Chanhassen caught this 26-inch walleye on Lake of the Woods late last month. Bloomquist used a spinner and a minnow.
Patience pays off
Audrey Doten, 13, of Minnetonka was rewarded after four quiet hours on Lake Mille Lacs with this 19-inch smallmouth bass. She used a slip bobber and a leech.
