Randy Soma, Brookings, S.D.• 51.5-inch muskie •Lake Vermilion

"We had great success on Lake Vermilion trolling for muskies. We hired guide Matt Seifert from Musky Mercenary Guide Service to guide us for two days. Our group caught a total of seven muskies. The highlight was catching two at the same time. My 51.5-inch fish hit first, and we were able to net her just as the leader broke. During that time, a second 46-inch muskie hit Braeden Lueders' lure as it was motionless on the surface. Matt was able to land both fish in the same net, creating memories that will last a lifetime."
