Transit agencies operating full service on Veterans Day

Metro Transit, Minnesota Valley Transit Authority, Plymouth Metrolink, SouthWest Transit, Maple Grove Transit and BlueXpress buses will be operating on a normal schedule today.

A number of folks are off today in observance of Veterans Day so traffic should be lighter than normal.

Metro Transit, Minnesota Valley Transit Authority, Plymouth Metrolink, SouthWest Transit, Maple Grove Transit and BlueXpress buses will be operating on a normal schedule today.

Metro Tranist offers free rides for disabled veterans who swhow a "Service Connected" card issued by the VA Medical center.

The same is true on Minnesota Valley Transit Authority.

SouthWest Transit gives all veterans free rides Monday.

BlueXpress buses will run on the regular schedule on Monday. However, the circulator and shuttle service, that's routes 496 and 498 will not run Monday and will resume service on Tuesday.
