Here's a post-rally tidbit from yesterday's Bachmann/Palin event.

Not only did Gov. Tim Pawlenty speak at the event, he transformed the front of his Freedom First Web site into a Bachmann campaign pitch and purchased the domain name "bachmannrally.com" just for the occasion.

The Web site purchase is a minimal expense (likely about $10), but it's more evidence that Pawlenty is throwing his support behind Bachmann's cause -- perhaps knowing that her base will be key in any future presidential election.

Surfing to bachmannrally.com now takes you to a special section of Pawlenty's Web site called "Stand with Michele Bachmann." The front of the site still features a large pitch for Bachmann.

Pawlenty already had Bachmann listed in his page of candidates he supports. This just took it to the next level.

Hot Dish predicts that Bachmann will want that domain name for herself, however, given that she hosts or speaks at a rally almost every week. Could a bidding war be in her future?
