Sunday"Breaking Amish" (9 p.m. TLC) follows five young people who leave their sheltered communities and move to New York City, where they will inevitably run into the "Jersey Shore" gang and learn about "gym, tanning, laundry," all under the influence of Jack Daniels shots.

MondayThe best thing about a new season of "The Voice" (7 p.m. KARE, Ch. 11) is that the show's real stars return to the spotlight. Personally, I like Spinning Chair No. 3 the best, but I can see how you might favor one of the others. Last season opened with the judges nailing a Prince medley. Is it too much to ask for another one?

TuesdayJax moves into the presidency with the start of a new season of "Sons of Anarchy" (9 p.m. FX), the gritty drama that appears to be beloved by everyone except Emmy voters. Maybe the addition of Jimmy Smits as Jax's dangerous mentor will finally convince the Academy to pay attention.

WednesdayBritney Spears' success as a judge on "The X Factor" (7 p.m. KMSP, Ch. 9) won't really be determined until the singing show goes live, but start looking for clues in these audition shows. My guess: Spears will make Paula Abdul look absolutely sane. I've got much more hope for Demi Lovato, who is also making her debut as a judge.

ThursdayNow that Sue Sylvester has gone soft, "Glee" (8 p.m. KMSP, Ch. 9) needs a new baddie -- and it appears to have a doozy based on clips of the season premiere. Kate Hudson plays Cassandra July, a dominating dance teacher who nicknames Rachel Berry "little Miss David Schwimmer." Hey, Rachel, if she keeps it up, just mention "Bride Wars."
