Kenneth Branagh has been spending so much time nurturing both his theater company and big-budget movies that you may have forgotten he's a riveting actor. "Wallander," the "Masterpiece Mystery!" series based on Henning Maskell's novels, serves as a vivid reminder of Branagh's skills as he returns — for the last time — as the Swedish detective blessed with the kind of patience you wish you had every time you try to assemble Ikea furniture.
