Mood swings

The many faces of Jack Lemmon are on display in a wide-ranging tribute that kicks off with 1959's "Some Like It Hot," the original version of "RuPaul's Drag Race," and continues with "The Odd Couple," "The Apartment," "The China Syndrome" and "Mister Roberts." I'm guessing "Grumpier Old Men" just missed the cut.

Killing me softly

America doesn't have exclusive rights on wacky elections. "Sweet Micky for President" follows former Fugees bandmates Wyclef Jean and Pras Michel as they compete for the chance to run post-earthquake Haiti. It's only a matter of time before Lauryn Hill declares her desire to be the next pope.

Hostess with the mostest

Amy Schumer's appearance this week at Target Center in Minneapolis coincides with the season premiere of "Inside Amy Schumer," a series that's gotten so big it can convince "Hamilton" creator Lin-Manuel Miranda to play second fiddle in a song-and-dance tribute to Betsy Ross. Others eager to share the TV spotlight with the red-hot star this year include Jake Gyllenhaal, Julianne Moore and Lena Dunham.
