Buffalo fetes stingy '52 team

Buffalo is adding a little more history to the traditional festivities when it hosts Moorhead on Friday in the school's homecoming game.

The school will be honoring the 60th anniversary of one of the greatest teams in school history. In attendance will be 15 members of the 1952 Wright County Conference champions, a team that went 7-0-1 and did not give up a point.

All of the members of the 1952 team will be recognized at a pregame tailgate dinner. Those in attendance will be escorted onto the field by members of the current Bison team and be introduced before the game. The captains of the 1952 team will take part in the pregame coin toss.
