Below is a chart that shows the 10 highest-paid jobs with more than 300 vacancies in Minnesota at the end of June, according to DEED's latest job vacancy survey.

Vacancies for mechanical and industrial engineers have more than doubled since 2007, which may signal the growing sophistication of manufacturing in the state. Openings for sales representatives in wholesale, manufacturing and services have risen 8.5 percent since 2007. Openings for construction managers have shot through the roof in the past five years, multiplying 14 times. Not sure what that represents.
