Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers to be at Target Center July 23

You can catch Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers performing the Super Bowl halftime show and you can see them in person July 23 at Target Center. Steve Winwood will open. The tour starts in late May.

Ticket information will be announced Monday. Tickets are expected to go on sale Feb. 4, the day after the Super Bowl. Petty last performed in the Twin Cities in June 2006 on a double bill with Pearl Jam.
