Tom Barnard sticks around

The area's most popular radio host rescinds his retirement plans

December 9, 2009 at 7:12PM

Tom Barnard's abrupt turnaround -- from retiring in 2012 to sticking around until they fire me -- shouldn't come as a surprise to fans. In a conversation I had with him about a month ago, he was even backing off from his original plan then.

The question I have is: What will it mean to the show? Will the show be different to appease Tommy? Tommy insists by Facebook that it's not a question of money...I've always thought it'd be interesting to see Barnard stretch some different muscles...don't be surprised if the new contract allows for just that.
