Timberwolves forward Anthony Tolliver has to be cleared to play tonight against Portland at Target Center.

It'll be his first action since he strained a knee ligament on Dec. 3 in San Antonio.

Well much or when will he play?

"You'll see it when I see it," Kurt Rambis said.

Tolliver has declared himself ready for more than a week, but just today got cleared by the team's medical staff to play with a knee brace tonight.

"He's been so hyper, so eager to get back," Rambis said. "If it was up to him, he probably would have been back a week ago. He has been pounding his knee. He has been involved in practices, getting extra work before and after practice. It doesn't look to me like there's any sort of mental holdback from his injury.

"He just looks like he's out there playing free and ready to go. We'll see what happens."

Telfair and Hayward are the Wolves' inactives tonight. Brandon Roy, Greg Oden and Elliot Williams all are out for the Blazers.
