I was just on KFAN with Paul Allen, who mentioned during the conversation that FSN folks at the team hotel in Arlington have seen Matt Tolbert walking around this morning.

I've also heard that the Twins will likely go to 12 pitchers today. That's a sign that they don't expect Alexi Casilla's leg injury to keep him out of the lineup long, so he doesn't need to go on the disabled list. Casilla pulled a muscle (we think it's the hamstring) in his leg while running out a double in the ninth inning of last night's game.

So look for the Twins to send a pitcher down today and announce that Tolbert has been called up from Class AAA Rochester.

Update: The twins have announced that Tolbert has been activated and left-handed reliever Chuck James has been sent back to Class AAA Rochester.

Tolbert batted .194 in 10 games with Rochester since being sent down July 17. But he's 4-for-12 with three walks and two stolen bases over his last three games.
