As is noted in this week's Big Gigs round-up, Tennessee twang-pop-punk quartet Those Darlins have come to town a lot opening for more manly bands, including Black Joe Lewis & the Honeybears, Dan Auerbach, Deer Tick, King Khan and the Old 97s (OK, so the latter might not actually be more "manly"). They're finally doing their own headlining show again, and it's a special one: They're playing for free as part of the new reopened/expanded Weisman Art Museum's WAM! series. The gig will also feature the constantly stomping 4onthefloor and another local opener, the Howlers, aka No, Not Howler. Click here for more details.

Just in time for the show, Those Darlins just dropped their new video yesterday for the title track of their new album, "Screws Get Loose." It's a fun one, but their live shows are even livelier.
