The Inquisition: Art Is Fun

Fans of National Public Radio's news quiz "Wait Wait, Don't Tell Me" and novice art experts alike are sure to flock to the Walker Art Center's new monthly quiz forum, aptly named "The Inquisition." Basically, it's a good, old-fashioned game show in which contestants have a battle of the wits with the Walker's panel of art experts. In actuality, the Inquisition isn't brand new -- it debuted as a Walker program back in 1940 when the renowned art gallery transitioned from a private gallery to a public art center. The audience is encouraged to submit questions, facts and topics in advance to www.walkerart.org/inquisition. (7 p.m. Thu. Free. Perlman Gallery at Walker Art Center, 1750 Hennepin Av. S., Mpls. 612-375-7609.)
