Don't forget to shine your Stormtrooper helmet. Or maybe you'll be donning Spider-Man tights? Whatever the case, geeks of all kinds will descend upon SpringCon this weekend. Organized by the Midwest Comic Book Association, the two-day affair is the largest convention of its kind in the Twin Cities.

Sellers will be out in force Saturday and Sunday, hocking everything from toys and DVDs to graphic novels and rare back issues. More than 200 artists and writers will be on hand for autographs.

To keep the nerds in line, the Star Wars 501st Garrison will be patrolling the grounds (and looking cool). The extravaganza also includes a costume contest, an art show and a rummage sale. There's even chapel service on Sunday — you know, just in case you need some spiritual guidance after spending next month's rent on Wolverine's first appearance.

Info: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Sat. & Sun. Grandstand, Minnesota State Fairgrounds, Falcon Heights. $11. www.midwestcomicbook.com
