PGA: Kapalua winner Zach Johnson is the top-ranked player in the Humana Challenge field at No. 6. No. 14 Brandt Snedeker, No. 20 Webb Simpson and No. 22 Keegan Bradley are the only others in the top 30 in the field. … Phil Mickelson is skipping the tournament to play at the Abu Dhabi Championship, a European Tour event that also includes Rory McIlroy, Henrik Stenson, Luke Donald and Sergio Garcia.

Champions Tour: This week's tournament opens the 50-and-over tour's 25-event schedule. ... The 42-player field features major champions from the past five years, other tournament winners the past two seasons and sponsor invitees.
