Director Gary Gisselman returns to the place where it all started, Bloomington Civic Theatre. Gisselman -- whose career has taken him to Chanhassen, Children's Theatre, Arizona Theatre Company and the Guthrie -- got his first professional work in theater as BCT's artistic director in 1964. He's brought along Michael Matthew Ferrell to choreograph the Rodgers & Hammerstein classic, and has Anita Ruth as music director. Karen Weber (pictured with Gisselman) plays Aunt Eller in the production. William Lee Bryan and Jessica Fredrickson play the romantic leads of Curly and Laurey.
