The Minneapolis Department of Veterans Affairs is holding a town hall meeting on Friday and is inviting vets to talk about their concerns about VA health care and other benefits. The VA has been under fire, nationally and in Minnesota, for its scheduling of appointments and other aspects of veterans' medical treatment.
The meeting is scheduled for the auditorium of the Whipple Federal Building, 1 Federal Drive, Fort Snelling.
9:30-10:30 a.m.: Issues related to the VA's health care administration.
10:30 to 11:30 a.m.: Issues related to the VA's benefits administration.
VA employees are expected to be on hand to answer questions.
