This epic tale of Yusuf Khan, a Tamil warrior who stood up against the British in order to protect humble village folk, is grand in scope, but the execution is a little wobbly. Although lead actor Sundaramoorthy Adhyigavel gives a high energy performance in the show — presented by the Minnesota Tamil Sangam, an organization aimed at promoting Tamil culture in Minnesota — the supporting players and dancers are uneven, and the action drags a bit in the middle. The dramatic climax almost makes up for it, but not quite. (1 p.m. Sun., 7 p.m. Tue., 4 p.m. Fri. Aug. 11, 4 p.m. Sun. Aug. 13, Rarig Center Thrust, 330 21st Av. S., Mpls.)
