Here's a look at what's new in the agreement.

What happened? The National Hockey League and NHL Players' Association reached a tentative deal on a new 10-year collective bargaining agreement after a 113-day lockout.

When will the season begin? Depends on how fast the CBA can be ratified, but the league is aiming for a 50-game schedule that would start Jan. 15. Training camps would start this week.
