According to reports out of Tennessee, Titans quarterback Jake Locker will not play this week after he dislocated his left shoulder in Sunday's loss in Houston. Instead, 37-year-old veteran Matt Hasselbeck will get the start against the Vikings.

In relief of Locker last week, Hasselbeck completed 17 of 25 passes for 193 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions returned for touchdowns.

Hasselbeck started all 16 games for Tennessee in 2011 and will give the Titans a veteran presence in what should be a difficult road game.

"He does a great job talking to the receivers, talking to the line," Titans coach Mike Munchak said Wednesday. "He takes great control of the huddle. He's got a lot of confidence in himself and what he can do. And he's going to get the ball where it's supposed to go very quickly. So if Jake can't play, I think we feel very comfortable that Matt can go in there and execute our offense in a big way."
