How topical, right? Playwright E.M. Lewis's monologue pleads with both sides on the gun debate to put down their verbal weapons and start listening in earnest to each other. She offers no solutions, suggesting that everyone in this argument has the same goal (to be safe) but radically different points of view. Her play tells five stories in which guns are the main characters. Actor Aaron Konigsmark performs the piece, which feels a bit disorienting because Lewis references herself throughout. Konigsmark is an honest broker, though, and tells the stories with full emotional commitment. (1 p.m. Sat., 4 p.m. Sun.; Strike Theater, 824 18th Av. NE., Mpls.)
