Feel the Hornet's sting No one knows if Seth Rogen's troubled production of "The Green Hornet" is a box-office bomb in the making, but the filmmakers thought they actually had a bomb on their hands last week. The crew spotted a suspicious object on the set, according to TMZ, and called the Los Angeles Police Department's bomb squad to check it out. It wasn't a bomb -- which they discovered after a robot blew it up. Whew. After a long preproduction process, casting woes and an apparent car accident on the set, Rogen and company could use a break.

The final reel The guys behind "Fast & Furious," Justin Lin and Neal Moritz, have been tapped for the reboot of "Highlander." "Iron Man" writers Art Marcum and Matt Hollaway are doing the screenplay. ... Jessica Biel has started filming the big-screen remake of "The A Team," also starring Liam Neeson, Bradley Cooper and Quinton Jackson. ... Another hot Jessica, Alba, is in talks to join the cast of "Meet the Parents" No. 3, which will bring back Ben Stiller, Teri Polo, Robert De Niro, Blythe Danner and Owen Wilson. ... Screen rights have been picked up for "L.A. Candy," the sweet bestseller by reality-series star Lauren Conrad ("The Hills," "Laguna Beach"). It's about a 19-year-old woman who moves to Hollywood and has to deal with sudden fame after becoming a reality-series star. Temple Hill, the company behind the "Twilight" sequels, is the producer.
