Bringing back the bees

Concerned about pollinators? The Citizens League and 89.3 the Current are presenting "Policy and a Pint: Bringing Back the Bees" today, April 30. Host Steve Seel will be joined by guests Gary Reuter from the University of Minnesota's Bee Lab, food writer Dara Moskowitz-Grumdahl from Mpls/St. Paul Magazine and Joseph Zachmann from the Minnesota Department of Agriculture. They'll discuss threats to the state's insect population, consequences for our food supply and what individuals can do to slow the threat and bring back the bees. The event will be held at the Varsity Theater, 1308 SE. 4th St., Minneapolis.
