The Chafees prepare to be deployed with the Minnesota National Guard

In October, First Sgt. Jeanette Chafee and 700 of her comrades will bid farewell to loved ones as they trek to Iraq in one of the largest MNG deployments ever. Chafee and her husband Brian Chafee have each deployed twice before, but this is the first time Jeanette Chafee has deployed since the birth of their daughters, ages 8 and 3.
