Before battling it out on the pop charts, Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez were enrolled in Disney Finishing School, where they simultaneously starred in "Princess Protection Program," the 2009 TV movie in which Lovato plays a royal pain forced to room with Gomez's no-nonsense country girl. Together they thwart a military coup, mean girls and a panty raid organized by Justin Bieber.

Fenton Bailey and Randy Barbato, the filmmakers behind "The Eyes of Tammy Faye," don't blink when it comes to living up to the title of their latest work, "Mapplethorpe: Look at the Pictures." The documentary on the late Robert Mapplethorpe has interviews with Brooke Shields and Debbie Harry, but it's the photos — many of which are nudes — that take center stage.

Pride parade

Ross Mathews, who has made the most of his internship on Jay Leno's "The Tonight Show," hosts the "27th Annual GLAAD Media Awards," which honors outstanding representations of the gay, lesbian, transgender and bisexual community in movies, TV and journalism. Nominees for best film: "Carol," "The Danish Girl," "Dope," "Grandma" and "Freeheld."
