You've seen him roaming around Brit's Pub with a smile, now watch him rock out. Freddie Manton, the "83-year-old cockney geezer" (Brit's words), will perform with his band Big Cherries Thursday night in the Clubhouse. The band is named after Brit's new signature cocktail -- 2 Gingers and Cherry Coke (2 Gingers is co-sponsoring the show). Most regulars at Brit's know Freddie as the first friendly face they see at the door. But he actually has a great musical history, says Brit's manager Shane Higgins. Freddie played on Hollywood soundtracks in the 1950s and 60s and worked at the Copacabana in the New York, too. Pictured below is Freddie doing his thing on the Fresno musical circuit. There's no cover for Thursday's show. Drink specials include $5 Big Gingers and Big Cherries.
