Former NBA player Isaiah Rider was interviewed by Mesa police and released Wednesday morning after he was discovered in Mesa in a cab with his 1-month-old-son 11 hours after the child was reported missing to Mesa police.
Rider and his son were found in the area of Power Road and Main Street at about 1 a.m. The infant was unharmed and returned to his mother, said Mike Melendez, a public information officer for the Mesa Police Department. ...
Mesa police arrested Rider last week on suspicion of assaulting his fiance and bilking a cab driver out of $150.
