It's a gorgeous Friday afternoon. If you aren't outside at the fair or on a patio somewhere by now, you will be soon.

So we're going to keep this short and sweet.

1) We were shooting the breeze with some co-workers a few minutes ago, and we came up with a great idea: food truck races. What about a food truck race across the country, where each truck had to make a pit stop at several designated cities, serving as pit stops. And they can't leave those cities until they move a designated amount of product.

It was a great idea. Then we Googled it and figured out that it pretty much already existed. That's the problem with ideas these days. You instantly know when someone else has beaten you to the punch. There is no more original thought. None.

2) From time to time, we get asked what TFD means. We assure you it is none of these things from Wikipedia. It is also nothing from Urban Dictionary, particularly No. 3 (langauge warning, obviously).

It stands for "The Friscalating Dusklight." We use the abbreviation because otherwise the headline would get really long. It's used for the final post of the day because, well, night is near. It's from the movie "The Royal Tenenbaums," which is fantastic. Here is the video clip. You are welcome for this public service announcement, which we make once a year or so.
