Dan Johnson -- Coon Rapids native, Blaine high school baseball standout (though only second-team All-Metro as a senior in 1997, an archive search confirms), Boston dream-crusher and certified ONE OF US -- has already had his Wikipedia page updated to signify the events of last night: He is best known for hitting a dramatic home run in the bottom of the 9th inning of the last game of the 2011 season, tying a game that the Rays would eventually win, sending them to the playoffs.

You're 32 years old, and the thing you are best-known for happened fewer than 24 hours ago. That is 2011, in a nutshell.
