HASTINGS, Minn. — A 17-year-old Burnsville boy is facing vehicular homicide charges in juvenile court for a crash that killed two teens and injured two others.

A juvenile petition filed in Dakota County alleges the boy was driving in a "grossly negligent manner" last August when he lost control of his car and it rolled six or seven times down a hill in Burnsville and landed on Interstate 35. The Minnesota State Patrol estimates the boy was traveling 96 mph in a 40 mph zone went it became airborne.

Sixteen-year-old Frederick Alexander and 17-year-old Alesha Roehl were killed and two other teens were injured. Authorities say the teens who were killed and one that was injured were ejected from the car.
