Vikings rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater made a last-minute adjustment to set up wide receiver Jarius Wright's 87-yard game-winning touchdown in the 30-24 overtime victory over the Jets on Sunday.

Bridgewater said he sensed an all-out blitz, with the Jets showing cover zero, and checked into a bubble screen to Wright on 3rd and 15 at the Vikings' 13.

"I just saw the look and got us into the right play," Bridgewater said.

Jets head coach Rex Ryan said Bridgewater struggled against cover zero, leaving every receiver in man-to-man coverage, all game but the defense made its move too early. It allowed Bridgewater to adjust the play.

"The kid made a nice check to a screen pass, which you know was coming," Ryan said. "We have to make the tackle."

Wright had key blocks from wide receiver Greg Jennings, tight end Kyle Rudolph and center John Sullivan on the play. Jennings made the initial seal that allowed Wright to spring free after making the catch.

"Teddy silent counted and saw what they were going to be in, and we switched to the better call," Wright said. "I'm glad that I had the chance to be in that situation.

"That's the first time I ever had not only a walk off touchdown, but I did it in [overtime]. So I can say this is one of the happiest moments of my life, and I think God for the opportunity."

Wright's interview ended abruptly in the locker room. He beamed for the trash can to vomit after the long run.

"Just tired," said Wright after the second longest touchdown reception in overtime in NFL history.
