Peijan L. Hodges — charged last week in connection with raping one woman in a downtown parking ramp — is now charged with assaulting two more women.

Authorities say he's responsible for three separate incidents, two of them on Oct. 7 and another on Sept. 26.

Hodges, 22, was charged last week with raping a woman in her car on Oct. 7, and police continued to investigate, arresting him on Oct. 9.

A second woman was attacked earlier Oct. 7, near the same location in the ramp when a bystander frightened away the assailant. Charges have now been filed in that case, too, the Hennepin County attorney's office said Friday.

Hodges was charged on Wednesday with first-degree criminal sexual conduct for attacking the woman who broke away, just two hours before the Oct. 7 rape for which he was charged last week, in Ramp C near Target Center.

The woman who got away had injuries to her back and chin.

Court papers say she was walking from her car to Ramp C at 2nd Avenue between 3rd and 4th Streets about 1:40 p.m. on Oct. 7. Hodges asked for a dollar and then grabbed the woman in a bear hug, forcing her to the ground between two cars, the complaint alleges.

The woman fought and screamed for help. A man getting off an elevator yelled at Hodges, who fled, the complaint says.

About 4:30 p.m., the other woman was raped in her car after Hodges allegedly rode with her in an elevator up to the seventh floor, snatched her keys and forced her into her back seat.

On Sept. 26, a different woman was walking in the skyway from City Center to Ramp A, 901 1st Avenue N., when Hodges allegedly asked for a dollar, made a lewd comment and grabbed her buttocks and breast. That woman contacted a security officer in City Center, who called police.

Friday night, Hodges remained in the Hennepin County jail on multiple felony counts.
