Style guru talks budget Lloyd Boston has doled out fashion advice on "Oprah," "The Today Show" and every other talk show out there. Starting next year, he'll have his own show, "Closet Cases," on Fine Living Network. He stopped by Macy's at Ridgedale recently to give Minnesota women some seasonal advice. His top budget tip? "Carve out half the day and pull everything out of your closet. You're going to resurrect items you didn't know you have. There are so many treasures hidden in the back of women's closets," he said. Of course, if you're going to shop, there's one must-buy item, especially in the Midwest: a new coat. "A lot of ladies hold onto their coats for five, seven, 10 years. It's the first thing people see. Your coat should be your most impactful piece in your closet or in your wardrobe. If you can't buy an entirely new outfit, a new coat makes your old clothes look new." Boston likes "juicy jewel tones" or textured tweeds.

Style Star Anel Ibrayeva, New Brighton

Spotted at: MSP International Airport, Lindbergh Terminal

As an exchange student from Kazakhstan, Anel Ibrayeva knows her way around an airport. Currently a junior at Irondale High School, she was returning from a weekend visit with her brother in Boston. She wore a Calvin Klein coat she bought in Moscow, a bag, scarf and shoes from a trip Milan, a Luigo sweater from Paris and pants from Forever 21 at the Mall of America. International style at its best.
