The holiday decor at the Galleria in Edina has a style of its own this year, thanks to merchandising students from the Art Institutes International of Minnesota.
Seven teams of students competed in a contest last weekend using unusual, reclaimed materials (crushed glass, winter greenery, holiday ornaments, pine cones) to create holiday dresses.
"Their imagination and creativity will be a special addition to the holiday atmosphere at Galleria this year," said Jeanne Anselmo, the shopping center's holiday decor designer.
The three winners will be showcased in the Louis Vuitton atrium throughout the holiday season.
