Corey Lunn, Stillwater Area Public Schools superintendent, will speak at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Lake Elmo Public Library, 3537 Lake Elmo Av. N.
Lunn will answer questions from the audience about the proposed levy increase, from $1,000 per pupil annually to $1,495, which is intended to earmark new money to stave off future budget shortfalls and enact the district's "Bridge to Excellence" strategic plan.
The event is free and open to the public. For more information, visit the library's website www.lakeelmopubliclibrary.org or call (651) 773-4926.
