Get $7 off admission to the craft show You won't find a better assortment of fine handmade jewelry, pottery, glass and fiber arts than when the American Craft Council show is in the Twin Cities. This year, 175 artists from the United States and Canada, including 26 Minnesotans, contribute to the 70th-anniversary show. Some of the offerings: cakes made by local cake designers inspired by a piece of art, a green category with artists who incorporate recycled or found materials, and lawn and garden furniture and decor. Items at the juried show can be pricey, but a "handmade under $100" category has been added this year. If you go after 5 p.m. Friday, admission drops to $5, down from $12.
